In commemoration of its 65th birthday Grantham University is inviting Kansas City area residents to a community volunteer fair and Goodwill donation drive.
Lenexa, Kan. – February 24, 2016 – Grantham University , a 100% online university, is commemorating its 65th birthday with a year of giving back. The institution located in Lenexa, Kansas, will hold a community volunteer fair and Goodwill donation drive in March.
"Grantham University would like to invite Kansas City area residents to attend our community volunteer fair and Goodwill donation drive in honor of a community that has given us so much throughout the years. This is a great opportunity to learn about volunteer opportunities and donate items to Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas," said Brad Gibbs, Grantham University chief development officer.
Some of the participating organizations include:
- Hillcrest Transitional Housing
- Salvation Army
- YMCA
- American Cancer Society
- Heart to Heart International
- Honor Flight
- City Union Mission
- Mosaic of Northeast Kansas
